My magazine, 'Passion'

Here is the magazine project I did. I firstly did research on different types of magazines, explaining the differences in the front page of the magazine, the contents page, and the double page spreads. this research then gave me ideas to produce my own. I made my own front page, calling the magazine 'Passion' and producing it so that it was quite a high end magazine. i then did the contends page with ideas of what would be in the magazine, then I finally did a double paged spread on the a/w catwalk trends to be up to date with the latest fashion trends!

Here is some of my work I have produced in Photoshop to create a poster advertising some clothing. I gained inspiration and idea's from the S/S Floral trend by making a moodbood full of pictures and information. Then I moved on to make 3 designs and then I scanned them in to the computer, and then played with colours and patterns to link to my trend and filled in my designs. Finally, I made a poster of my final design to link with my trend and advertise the garment!

Coco Chanel - My Inspiration

 

Seeing that this is the first blog post, I thought I may add some of my inspirations in Fashion.

My first, and biggest inspirations is Coco Chanel - she changed fashion for woman - making them say goodbye to the uncomfortable days of corsets, and introduced comfy, stylish jackets with fitted skirts.

She found inspiration from men's wear, picking out elements from there, and producing comfortable, well tailored designs for woman to wear.
